An 'It’s in the bag!’ show provides opportunities to reinforce and extend children’s learning. There are clear links to both literacy and numeracy. Children are able to extend and enrich their vocabulary through listening, talking, and singing. They also enjoy exploring patterns and sounds of language through storytelling, singing and rhyme. Throughout the show numbers and counting are explored in many different contexts. 

 

Children enjoy participating in a live performance. The interactive nature of the show allows the audience to be creative through music, drama and movement. The stories, which are performed with puppets, can also help children develop respect for others, meet challenges and solve problems.
